One of the most challenging parts of replacing flooring is the removal of the existing floor. Quicksand Sandblasting provides the removal of all existing floor coverings including, but not limited to, ceramic tile, hardwood, VCT tile, vinyl sheet flooring, etc. No job is too small or too large for us to manage. We have projects that range from hundreds to thousands of square feet, and are well equipped with small and large removal equipment.
Adhesive Removal
We are able to mechanically remove any and all existing adhesives, mastics, tile grouts, etc., leaving the area clean and ready to accept new flooring or polished concrete.
Floor Grinding
As part of the adhesive removal process we grind from corner to corner as necessary to ensure a complete and thorough finish, finishing tightly against all existing walls.
Shot Cleaning
Shot cleaning is used in conjunction with grinders for adhesive and mastic removal. It is also very effective for floor preparation to “CSP” specifications prior to installation of floor levelling compounds and new floor materials.
